Since the beginning of the current administration, the relationship between the Union and the Sugar Mill has become the main management tool with the personnel, this correlation has allowed to perform a better operation in the maintenance and harvest stages 15/16. Likewise, during 2016 the collective agreement between the Union and the General Management has been negotiated, reaching agreements that seek to improve the quality of life of the workers.
The level of employment generated in the area by the company amounts to 560 employees, of whom 38 are women who work during the harvest in the areas of laboratory and human resources on a temporary basis. While, for the time of maintenance or repair of the plant, a total of 270 jobs, of which 81% is affiliated to the Union of Workers.
